Papworth Davies have been working with a team led by Marchese Architects Melbourne office to develop a concept for a new vision for retirement in the city – we’ve called it M.A.P – Multi Age Precinct.
The scheme explores the possibilities of adapting and re-using existing buildings in the city to combine third phase living with an affordable and accessible product for a wide spectrum of end users.
A multi age precinct (M.A.P) is a place that activates land use innovation and experience.
A multi age precinct is a place informed by understanding the demands of age diversity.
A multi age precinct is adaptive to the needs of a wide spectrum of end users.
A multi age precinct is vital and liveable.
Our multi age precinct combines a Third phase living model with an affordable and accessible product.
Our multi age precinct intentionally illustrates the potential of adaptive re-use as a metaphor as to how we can consider ageing.
